Projet etwinning : YOU AND ME IN PERCENTAGES

(October 2012/May 2013)

Activity 1 :    OUR PUPILS    (October-December)

a) Each pupil introduces himself

● Each pupil creates a page with his photo and a small text in English.

● All these pages will be put together into a Powerpoint presentation. On the group photo of the class you will be able to click on zones linked to each pupil’s page.

● Furthermore each pupil will read aloud his presentation and it will be recorded and placed in the Twinspace.

b) our school, our area

● The school will be presented in English and photos will be added.

● Then we will send real postcards to our partners.

c) Exchange between pupils

● A forum will be created on the Twinspace, the pupils will write messages in English to their European friends.

● Depending on the number of pupils each of them will have a penfriend.

d) Christmas cards (to be sent around  03/12/12)

Activity 2:   POLLS (January-May)

a) Vocabulary on statistics (lesson + exercises)

b) Topics :

Topics are chosen by the teachers

Each country chooses a theme.

c) Questions:

The pupils write questions on a topic they have chosen.

This questionnaire is posted on the Twinspace and all the students answer it (including those who have posted it). They send their answers through the Twinspace .

d) Use of the results :

In each country the pupils (study the results using their knowledge on statistics and use a software to  build up the  diagrams corresponding to the results of the polls.

The results will be posted on the Twinspace  in a Powerpoint presentation.

e) Easter cards (to be sent by the 18/03/13 at the latest)
